The difference between static and dynamic web site

Technically speaking Static website is written completely by HTML code and each website pages are separate document. It does not include any kind of databases or external files that are drained upon. To edit the content of this type of web site you have to modify each HTML page.

 

Dynamic website are written by many codes like PHP, ASP and JAVA. You can effectively be talented to make updates without any need to know HTML  language or any website software, thus,  you can modify your website easily.

Practically speaking, there are many static websites on the Internet, you won’t be able to tell immediately if it is really static, but the drawbacks are many:

•        The web site looks basic, thus it simply delivers information .Static websites can only really be updated by someone who really knows website development.

•        Web Site that are not useful for the user surfers

•        Content can get stagnant
